Privacy Policy

DeedDash · Effective date: October 12, 2026 · Version v1

This Privacy Policy explains what information DeedDash (“DeedDash,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects when you use the DeedDash website (deeddash.io) and analyzer (collectively, the “Service”), how we use and share that information, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. Our Terms of Service govern your use of the Service.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information. Your email address and your account password. Passwords are stored only as a salted cryptographic hash — we never store your password in plain text and cannot see it.
  • Analysis inputs and usage. The property addresses you submit to the analyzer, the analyses you run, and monthly usage counts that we keep in order to enforce plan limits.
  • Payment information. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details are provided directly to Stripe; we receive payment confirmations, your plan and subscription status, and limited billing details such as card brand and last four digits. We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Technical information. When you access the Service, our hosting and security providers automatically log information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and request timestamps, for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to: create and maintain your account; run the analyses you request and deliver results to you; enforce plan usage limits; process subscriptions and payments; prevent fraud, scraping, and other abuse; communicate with you about your account, billing, and material changes to the Service; improve and troubleshoot the Service; and comply with our legal obligations. We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and the analyzer does not contain advertising trackers.

3. Cookies

The Service uses a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in to your account. That cookie is HttpOnly, is sent only over secure connections, and expires after 30 days. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking cookies in the analyzer. If you disable cookies in your browser, you will not be able to stay signed in, and the analyzer will not be able to run analyses for your account.

4. How We Share Information

  • Property-data providers. The property addresses you submit are sent to third-party property-data providers (such as RentCast) so that they can return property records, valuations, and comparable sales for your analysis. Those providers process the addresses under their own terms and privacy policies.
  • Payment processing. Stripe processes your payments and subscriptions and receives the billing information needed to do so, governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
  • Infrastructure providers. Hosting, content-delivery, and security providers (such as Cloudflare) process technical information in order to operate and protect the Service.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, our users, our data providers, or the Service.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the commitments in this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Data Retention

We retain account information and usage records for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your personal information, we will delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law, needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements, or present in routine backups, which are purged in the ordinary course (generally within 90 days). Property addresses you submitted may be retained in analysis logs and cached results for service operation, security, and abuse prevention.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing info@deeddash.io. We will verify your request (usually by confirming control of the account email) and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally within 45 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws — such as the rights to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. We will honor verified requests as required by applicable law.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), salted PBKDF2 password hashing, least-privilege access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password for your DeedDash account.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@deeddash.io.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Policy on this page and update the effective date and version shown above; for material changes, we may also notify you by email or within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after an updated Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of it.
